2017 Mazda CX-3 Release Date Approaches for Early July 2016
What’s New for the 2017 Mazda CX-3?
Last year, Mazda shook up the subcompact crossover segment with the introduction of the CX-3. Because of the vehicle’s instant success, it would be tough to find anything worth changing. That said, if you’re trying to decide between driving home in the 2016 CX-3 or being one of the first to test drive the 2017 model, you’ll need to know what’s new for the 2017 Mazda CX-3.
In 2016, the CX-3 came standard with 16-inch wheels and offered 18-inch wheels on the top-of-the-line Grand Touring trim. For 2017, 18-inch wheels come standard one trim earlier on the Touring model. If you still go for the Grand Touring trim, however, you’ll have more affordable access to Mazda’s i-ACTIVSENSE suite of safety technologies that add things like Lane Departure Warning and Radar Cruise Control. The MSRP for the i-ACTIVSENSE package has dropped to $1,170 from last year’s MSRP of $1,920.
2017 Mazda CX-3 Trim Level Pricing
Despite the small changes in equipment availability, you’ll be delighted to learn that the MSRP remains unchanged from the 2016 model year. Here is how it looks:
CX-3 Sport: MSRP $19,960
CX-3 Touring: MSRP $21,960
CX-3 Grand Touring: MSRP $24,990
The 2017 model will still come with a SKYACTIV engine putting you in control of 146 horsepower and 146 lb-ft of torque, while still managing 29 mpg city and 35 mpg highway. The CX-3 offers available i-ACTIV AWD on each trim, helping you drive in inclement weather thanks to the predictive system that detects potential wheel slips before they occur. Standard features on both the 2016 and 2017 models include an infotainment touchscreen, a rearview camera and push-button start.
Now that you’ve seen what’s new for the 2017 Mazda CX-3, you can expect it to be available early next month. That said, if you’re satisfied with the 2016 model, you can test drive it without waiting by contacting us at Mazda of Manchester. If you’re holding out for the 2017 Mazda CX-3 instead, we still encourage you to reach out to us to stay updated on its availability and be one of the first to get behind the wheel.
